Simplified life... what a thought. Is it possible to have a life simplified? Possible? I pose that it is imperative to have a life simplified. So many things, voices, people, events vie for our attention. None of which are wrong. It's simply what is priority. How do you prioritize people, events, things voices?
I'm not sure I have all the answers, however, I do know the results of a simplified life. A SIMPLIFIED LIFE EQUALS AMPLIFIED GOD! When I make the choice to simplify, my ability to hear His voice becomes clearer. Living simplified only comes through being intentional.
Each week I have to re-evaluate the schedule and the voices and events in my life to preserve the simplicity picture God has so clearly painted for me. I clean out the purse, I keep the junk drawer to a minimum of junk. Simplified life requires concerted effort, an investment... but the results are HUGE! I will do whatever to preserve the amplifier of the Holy Ghost in my life.
I want my life to AMPLIFY GOD which means I have to make choices so as to not drown out the sweet sound of Jesus in my life. Can people hear God in your life? Are there things in which you need to simplify so you can hear Him... and He in turn can be heard.

Psalm 42:1 "As the deer pants for the water so my soul longs after you"
Let the longing of your soul cause you to continually clear the path to get to the source that satisfies.
